The instructions that came with the chair are easy to follow and it took me about 1 hour to assemble one chair. The only tools required are an Allen wrench (provided) and a Phillips screwdriver (not provided). Assembly of the chairs was not too bad, will be easier with 2 people. The cushion is nice and thick and extremally comfortable. Once put together, it was very comfortable and sturdy. This has sat out in the rain for a few days but it does not look like it was damaged at all, still looks brand new.
