After 1 year

This is the worst dryer I have ever operated! It came from the factory messed up. VERY NOISY!!! Someone in my extended family has the same dryer and I thought I would get this and the matching washer. From the 1st month I owned it the service guy had to come out 2 times. Overall, he has been to my house 8 times and cannot fix all the issues. Maytag finally decided to replace it with another model!

Junk

I’m shocked this dryer has as high of a rating as it does. I’ve replaced the belt 3 times, a drum wheel, and with the last belt found the motor pulley to be wiped out all within the first 12 months of use. After the first belt we lightened the loads and it made the second OEM Maytag belt last even less time. When I opened it up the second time is when I found the left side drum wheel seized on the shaft so I figured that was the reason for the shortened life on the second belt. Well 3 months aft...

Not worth it

Only after having dryer for 2 months had to have the belt replaced and after 6 months it stopped drying had the control panel replaced along with the door switch worked for a short time and stop driving again cleaned all the ducts still didn't work, so we just bought a new dryer. Different brand

Does not dry clothes

We’ve had this one for a couple of years now and it hasn’t worked right since day one. The clothes are always damp no matter what cycle we use. I usually end up having to do the more dry cycle twice to get the clothes dry

Easy to operate, and easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maytag Pet Pro Dryer has been great so far. It does a decent job with removing pet hair, additionally it does a great job drying all the clothes that are loaded. It’s very intuitive to use and is operated using common sense. The auto sensor tells the dryer when the clothes are dry, and if removed when complete the clothes are wrinkle free.

Terrible Product

Anything with a hook will get hung up in the space between the barrel and the stable part of the dryer. I have ruined over $200 worth of clothing so far in 6 months of owning this piece of crap. Its obnoxiously loud, the door is thin and flimsy. You have to slam and I do mean SLAM it to even get it to close. You can't put many pieces of clothing in at a time or you will wear belts and what-not. Service has been out at least 3 times already. PIECE OF JUNK.

Pretty looking but damp and expensive to use.

1st month failed twice

The pet filter in the drum catches little of the hair and lint most of it goes through the drum and end up in the filter at the bottom of the washer. It is only accessible by a service man taking off the top then taking off the control panel then the front frame to access the filter at the bottom. Cheap and flimsy!

Buyer beware, I'm having buyers remorse over this one, the dryer unit is only 6 months old and the ceramic coating inside the dryer is melting off! Not to mention the Door is super flimsy and takes some umph to get it to close. Good luck if you have a sleeping baby and need to do laundry cause you have to slam it shut. I also have the matching washer, which has been okay so far but the components like the fabric softner tray and the rinse button are flimsy and cheap and feels like a childs toy. ...
