You do want bit of experience with roofing just because of the size of hole you're putting in but watching videos and reading the manual thoroughly to prepare is very helpful. The install took about 2.5 hours start to finish so it's no small job, but worth it to us here in hot Florida where hot attic air can really affect A/C efficiency.
