Very nice fryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve fried many Thanksgiving turkey’s with this fryer and it has performed beautifully. It is quick to heat up, has a large capacity, maintains a steady temperature and is easy to clean. My only caution (which is stated in the manual but deserves mention) is to plug it directly into an outlet and do NOT use an extension cord. You risk ruining the detachable cord, melting your extension cord and possibly causing a fire.

Huge capacity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this so I could fry multiple turkeys at once. Honestly a little disappointed. It takes forever to heat up and it wouldn’t keep a high enough temperature for the turkey. I’ll just stick to propane for now.

Great investment

I've been frying turkeys for about 10 years. I've always used the traditional pot with propane set up. This year I decided to try this electric fryer. Set up was super easy. I added the oil and turned it on. After it came to temp I placed the turkey is and began frying. When it was done, I pulled it and let it rest on its convenient hook and rack setup. Great product and some potential improvements

Will start by saying we use this product very regularly for deep frying and generally deep fry very large portions. We have bought this fryer 5 times over the years and when/if this one breaks, will probably make it 6. There just isn’t really anything else on the residential marketplace which we have found better. Love this fryer for turkey's and chicken nuggets!

I fire this thing up about three to four times a week, making chicken wings, chicken nuggets, chicken patties, corn dogs, cod, fish sticks, etc... The thing is a beast and can even do turkey's at Thanksgiving. The only reason I gave it a four star out of five, is because, it does take quite a bit of time to warm to temp (expectable with oil and the capacity that it has).
