Solid lock for an outdoor need
Wanted something outdoor rated to secure a generator’s automatic transfer switch since it’s the new main power cutoff for our house. No lock is perfectly secure but this should avoid basic mischief.

OK but not great
I bought this to use on a chain accross a driveway and it's working. However the rubber flap that is designed to 'seal' the dials is pretty soft and if you aren't careful it will pull the tiny tabs out of the little receptacles and fall off. The 'ears' on the flat to hold it in place are maybe 1/16" long so you combine that with the soft flexible rubber and it's not going to hold.

Looks better than it is
We bought one, and out of the box it was completely seized up. Returned it with no issues, second lock seemed to work fine, but after 6 months in the weather the second one seized up too. As others have mentioned, the rubber flap immediately fell off and the combination dials were stiff even when it was working properly.
