Fan came damaged
Did a curbside pick up for this fan. Lowes employee put it in the trunk, so I failed to inspect it till I got home. That's when I noticed the box had been opened. I slid the fan out and that's when I discovered that the dome "top" had been caved in. As if something heavy had been stacked on top of it. Upon further inspection, the thermostat had been separated from the fan as well. This product had obviously been returned and simply restocked without inspection. Attic Fan
Product arrived fast, came in with no damage. Had my A/C guy install of attic of my 30x25 detached garage. We haven’t had any real hot days as of yet, but few mid 80’s degree days we’ve had it’s kicked on pulled heat out of attic and kicked off. I set thermostat at 90°. I also bought the bigger fan rated for 2800sqft for my house and it’s working great too.

Solid and well made. Least expensive of competitor
The product arrived in a sealed box but the dome had a scratch on it and one corner of the mounting base was bent. Since the box wasn’t damaged this indicates poor quality control. The item itself looks solid and well made. I will live with the item as it’s too big an effort to exchange
