Super quiet and the thermostat works great!
Our HVAC company recently installed an attic fan but it was way too loud and it never shut off automatically. Turns out they installed it incorrectly and did not leave the hole by the temperature sensor on the back open to the air. This fan was super easy to install, so much more quiet and the thermostat works awesome. I had it set to cut on at 100 degrees and it cooled the attic really quickly on an a high 70 degree day and shut off automatically. Definitely recommend this fan!

Great fans!
I have two of these, one on each end of my house. One of them lasted about 10 years and finally started getting a little noisy, so I replaced it with the same fan. These fans move a great deal of air and make a huge difference in my house when it's really hot outside. I can't hear them running inside the house at all. I had a different brand on one end of the house for a while and it was very noisy and you could hear it in the house every time it started up. I highly recommend this fan!

Parents house has 3 of these. One is in garage ceiling and the other two on attic ceiling. Can set thermostat to various temps. When temp warms to setting fans kick on and move air very well. All three are wired thru a regular on/off switch. So they can be cut off at attic access. Going to get three and put in my attic this winter.
