I would get a steel one

This is unacceptable!!!!!! How can you ship out a damaged box with the assumption of the item damaged as well. NOW you have put our contractors behind at getting our roof fixed. That is why we ordered both turbines at the same time. We did take it to our local store for a refund. And I would recommend this product if its the right one for your home. Thanks!

Hard to adjust level
We couldn't get the turbine top to set up level on top of the base when attached to the roof, no matter how we tried to adjust it. We noticed some of our neighbors have the same situation with their turbines.

works great
I needed the turbine part to replace one that broke. The internal support is metal as the old one had plastic that broke. I had to crimp the old metal support over the hole in the roof and the turbine slid over and was attached by the 3 screws supplied. It spins in the wind without any sound coming from it.
