Not a lauan mahogany door

Would Not Recommend

I have been living with this for several years now but with a lot of help from water repellent, epoxy and Formica.. It is made of thin spruce strips on the sides. The top and bottom are thinner particle board. The surfaces are printed cardboard. The door is just not durable because there is no lauan it's basically a cardboard box. Not recommended.

Unpackaged, thin veneer.

We had to special order these doors and they arrived completely unpackaged with a few stickers on the side. By the time I received then, the veneer which is incredibly thin was already banged up around the edges. I stained them and put several coats of polyurethane on them which firmed things up, but the edge still look rough.
