Cuts wall plaster like butter

This thing sliced a hole in my 90 year old wire mesh backed plaster bathroom walls in about 20 seconds. It was somewhat difficult to get started because the drill arbor (sold separately) doesn't have a guide, but I just got it up to top speed and plunged right in. Perfect 2 inch circle that was clean and smooth.

Over all worth money , drills clean holes without

Works as advertised on thin guage metal, like siding or metal roofing. However without the arbor it is a little difficult to get it to start when drilling in an angle

Marshalltown 1" Diamond Hole Saw

This is a diamond hole saw which is very useful for running pipes such as 1" PVC, CPVC, or copper lines through hard materials, such as ceramic tile. I am very pleased with the functionality of the tool but it did not come with an arbor. It also takes a different arbor than standard hole saws, which was irritating. Work smarter not harder!

I was a bit surprised when I received this product as it was not listed as "angle grinder" only use - but honestly with a non-arbored bit I find it easier with an angle grinder . This bit did quite well drilling in porcelain tile and seemed to retain it's cutting edge quite well. I also tried this in cement board which it went through like butter.

Clean Holes BUT don't forget the correct Arbor

This bit worked well, and the hole was clean. I liked everything about it, except the fact that it did not fit any of my Hole Saw arbors. I had what I thought were all the arbors I needed (4 in my toolbox) but to my surprise the thread was different on this Marshalltown Diamond bit. I found the needed Arbor at Lowe's, just be sure to buy both the bit and arbor if you are going to use this.
