1 out of 2 will not work.

The order was for two (2) very expensive 60" wide roller blinds. One works, the other one doesnt. You pull it down, and it stays down. Will not return back up.

"Good" product for "very good" price

I would say this is a "good" product at a "very good" price, considering it's a non-custom window treatment.  The blackout effect is excellent (even though my window was a little too wide for the largest size, after installation, a little light leaks in on one side, but overall for the price and not having to order custom, I am pleased & will keep it.  My room is seriously DARK!!!) Frustrating

Finding regular vinyl window shades these days is not an easy task! I was pleased when I saw that Lowes carried some. I placed my order and waited several weeks without hearing anything. I tried tracking the order online with no luck, then called and was told it would be coming soon. Interesting that I received notification that my shade would be arriving soon and it did the next day. The shade was well packaged. It was an easy on line order. I needed a quick room darkened shade. The roller shade were an easy install.

The sizing guide for these is wildly inaccurate

The purpose of blackout blinds it to cover the entire window. The sizing guide says to order the blinds 1/2-1 inch smaller than the window frame. Well I did this and what I got was a blind that was 2-3 inches smaller than the frame. I took a tape measure to the blinds and they were even smaller than the sticker stated on the package. The problem with this is the sunlight will be shining in on each side due to the large gap. These are custom order but thankfully my local Lowes let me return them....

Instructions aren't clear on how to wind spring

Some of the reviews say that the shades do not roll up easily. That was happening to me, until I realized that you have to manually roll the shades to wind up the spring. This is not marked in the instructions at all, but if you pull the shades towards you from the left hand side, it mechanism will snap out and then you have to roll the shades all the way up. You then push the mechanism back into place and from there the spring will be wound so when the shades roll up the way you'd want them ...

Don't buy this.

One bracket has the option to mount side or back... the other one just doesn't. Very stupid design. Won't roll all the way up, it goes up and down well, I just wish it would go all the way. Overall it's crap.

Terrible, vague instructions. Poor mounting hardwa

The shades look fine, but instructions and low quality mounting hardware makes them less than builder quality. Instructions are all pictures no words. The only dimension is a non-adjustable clearance. Printing is too small to read, less than 6 point font. Placement very vague, shows small parts with big arrows to vague location. Mounting screws are sheet metal/plastic screws, not suitable for wood window frames and cheap quality. I recommend you pre-drill the holes in wood frames, the screws w...

Great Blackout, Bad Mechanics

These are great blackout shades, but once the morning comes, getting them to roll back up is VERY difficult. Sometimes they work, mostly they don't

Very good blackout function

This is a great shade for the price. I ordered the largest size available and have been using it nightly for about 2 weeks with no problems. I was able to adjust the tension as directed so that the shade disappears behind my valance during the daytime. Keep in mind that the width measurement is the width of the header - the shade itself will be a bit narrower. Recommend outside mount for maximum blackout effect.
