It's a quality hunk of balsa. It was exactly 36" long and measures a true 1/2" X 1/2". Important to me as it was going to be cut as squares to wrap with paper to make 1/2" boxes for a craft project miniature house. It will then have 6 -1/16" cut pieces glued to make 2-5/8" blocks to wrap with paper.
