Cheap, reliable dowels

Grabbed these for a little woodworking project I had going on in the shed. Needed something to pin some joints together on a small cabinet I was building for the wife. These fit perfectly, didn't splinter when I cut them down, and the price was almost laughably low. Honestly what more can you ask for? Decent dowels

I bought 4 of them. They are all exactly the same length and the ends are intact- nothing chipped off. The sanding job is a little here and there though.

Best instrument

I like to cut these up and create two sticks that I then bang against each other. It’s my instrument and I love it.

I know, it's a dowel rod right? How do you rate that. Well, I was incredibly happy to find the perfect size that I needed for a lamp at Lowe's. No one else, big or small, stocked it. And I don't have the equipment or skill to make it. So, 4 stars for carrying stock that no one else does!
