Poor quality control
Purchased in May 2021. Cost about 2,900 at the time. Started to struggle to cool June 2024. Had repair man out to find the issue. Small leak in evaporator coil. Additionally there was non-compressable matter in the lines, which indicated the vacuum pull on the unit wasn't properly performed at the factory. Worst home investment ever purchased
Unit just turned a year old in May: no heat last year and so far no heat this year either. Sent an email to mrcool staring their system was the biggest piece of crap I ever purchased! Three different ac repair companies and no one knows why the unit does not work on heat: fan on outside unit won't engage, unit blows cold air at a very low level. purchased this because my 3.5 ton heat pump broke after 15years of excellent performance. Price was fair and then trouble began. Every time i call local store (Prescott, Arizona) to arrange installation was transferred to no one but was disconnected. Called Lowes online 3 time and was told installation would be arranged.
