First off, ignore there weird video where it show a person peeling a carrot straight down in the plastic bin without a bag. If you need a can that your family can kick around, don't get this can; get yourself a plastic rubbermade non destructable can.... But if you're not hard on things this is a perfect can.. I want to clarify my one star review by saying that this trashcan arrived seriously dented. I tried to return it with following Lowe’s online instructions, which required printing a return label online, (which didn’t work), and I was struggling to get it back in the original packaging exactly the same way it came, enough so that I could tape it up and ship it back to Lowe’s. Easy to use.
This step garbage can was purchased for my powder room. It is appealing on its own, without the requirement of any matching decorative pieces. This suits my powder room nicely, as it has no counter for any matching items anyways

I know it's just a trash can, but...
This is a great trash can! The slow close lid is nice since it closes length-wise. I also really like that the finish doesn't show fingerprints or smudges. Keeps looking nice. I would definitely recommend this for your kitchen or laundry room!
