Terrible

The caulk would not come out the tip on the first tube I purchased. Instead, it squished out the back. The same thing happened with the second tube that I purchased from another Lowes. However, because I needed to finish my job, I found a coat hanger and stuck it down the tip. About half came through the tip and the rest came out the back of the tube. Worse yet, is that after 20 hours, the caulk has not even attempted to dry where I applied it. This is a terrible product. I would definite...

mske sure you want sanded, its more rough,

worked like the mixed grout, and color was the same...

Manufacturers responses

What is thoroughly inconsistent about the responses from the manufacturer are they only respond with “100% silicone should be used in wet areas” if you see a complaint in a review. Someone sings the praises of the product and no reminder from the company to “watch for cracking as pull away as we do recommend 100% silicone for wet area projects”.

I grabbed some of this today and noticed that the instore price was twice as much as the online price. That would be my only issue.

Don’t Buy It!

It does not firm up and dry in wet areas. Near the faucet it’s bleeding onto the tub and won’t dry. Going to remove it and use a good silicone caulk.

Caulk Cost

Very expensive. The most I have ever spent on a tube of caulk. Haven't used it yet, but I sure hope it is worth the expense.
