What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise this mortar for reliable performance and ease of use. Most highlight effortless mixing with water, smooth consistency, and even spreading without lumps. Reviewers consistently report strong adhesion and dependable bonding on ceramic tiles, cement board, and pavers, with many professionals noting consistent results across multiple jobs. Several compare it favorably to premium alternatives, finding no noticeable performance difference. Customers emphasize the excellent value and affordability as a major advantage. My husband sent me for the mortar. I am a pretty strong chicken and trying to find a bag without a hole in it wasnt easy. When I found one with only 1 manageable hole I then stop by the register in the flooring department and made eye contact with 3 lowes associates and they all just continued to carry on their conversation until they were done before they asked me if i needed help. I requested a bag for the mortar since there was a hole in it and the young man just hands it to me and turned to ...

Easy to use mortar for tiling; easy mix and spread

Would Recommend

I got this thin set tile mortar for my DIY tiling project to tile a 7x7 feet laundry room area. The 50lb bag was the perfect amount for the space. You do have to buy the polymer to mix into it and you cannot just use water, but the polymer was also found at Lowe's and it was easy to mix together in a bucket. Once mixed, it is easy to spread and I was able to finish my laundry room area in a few hours. It does set and dry pretty quickly so I would recommend moving quickly and doing a small space ...

Use 1/2" backer board for tile longevity.

Would Recommend

I have used this product over 20 years ago and have had no problem with my kitchen floor. Used it to glue down the 1/2" backer board and the tile, floor is still solid, no cracks. Using it again in our new house kitchen. Easy to use and clean up.
