What Customers Are Saying
The product is described as lightweight, easy to start, and highly maneuverable, making it well-suited for small gardens and raised beds. Many reviewers highlight its powerful performance, noting it can quickly and efficiently till even hard, clay-based soil. The engine is praised for its quiet operation and reliability, with some long-term owners reporting the tiller lasting 20-30 years with proper care. However, a few customers found the tiller too light and bouncy, struggling with control at times. Overall, the product seems to be an excellent choice for homeowners with small to medium-sized gardens who want a powerful yet easy-to-use tilling solution.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews.I dig the Mantis & the Mantis digs for me.
So far it's been fun tearing up the roots & churning the soil. I read reviews that said the Mantis could be hard to start but I found it to be extremely easy to start. Instructions say to apply the choke but I found it to be a hinderance. Perhaps when it gets colder the choke will be essential?

This Thing Rocks!!
Easy to assemble, light weight and chews the soil into a loose plantable texture. The Mantis makes quick work of tilling compared to my old conventional tiller.
