Crescent Lufkin 700 25-ft Tape Measure

Died after light use

This tape measure sits in my desk drawer except for using 3-4 times a year. Not a mark on the housing; you would mistake it for brand new if I were to return it to the store shelf. Very light use. The tape just suddenly jammed and will not extend or retract. And no the lock isn't on. What can I say, I'll buy another brand given this only has only one year warranty. I may disassemble it to see what is wrong given it's useless in its current condition.

Self centering great for those that need it.

Nice tape,love the self centering as I build cabinets. But not the best materials used as these dont seem to last long before they are coming apart,jamming up,etc. But for the price, cant really complain.
