I bought these gloves for my grandson because he’s learning welding in his school. He was having to use old gloves the school was providing for him. One day he came home and told me he was able to do much better with his welding skills because new gloves made a big difference to him. A new pair of gloves gave him more confidence in learning the skill. The next thing will be a nice face shield.

Lincoln electric with another great product, does what it should for welders and has a sweet flame graphic on the gloves. Only downside for me is they’re a bit bulky for trying to hold pieces together when tacking them in place. I’m sure less bulky though would mean less protection from the heat so you gotta pick and choose your battles

Multi-purpose Gloves - Welding and Fireplace

Fire resistance is great, which is why I bought them since I needed them while working with live fires in my fireplace. They were hard to find because they weren't considered fireplace items and it didn't occur to me to search in the welding area of the store, otherwise I'd have given it 5 stars.
