Adhesive works for me!
I've bought this brand twice and am about to for a third time. I've had zero issues with the installation or the adhesive which has had no issues sticking to both flat and textured painted (gloss, semi-gloss and flat) surfaces. Perhaps the folks that have had trouble with adhesive bought into a defective lot? Anyway, I highly recommend this product.
Needs to be just a little more thought out
It may seem trivial to most, but it is a huge issue for my circumstance that there is no 45 degree outside (or inside or regular wall side) elbow. I am okay with it not being included (those types of parts are never adequately supplied in a single order, anyway), but the fact that it does not exist, at all, is very upsetting. I bought this to avoid that jury-rigged look, but I guess for anything but the most standard configuration cordmate can do no better than a jury rigged look. Still a good...

Adhesive strip is useless
Generally a solid product, except for the adhesive strip on the back. As the other reviewer states, the adhesive strip is useless no matter how much cleaning you do to the surface before applying. Its become a regular occurrence over the past few months of owning numerous strips in various locations of the house that it simply does not maintain its adhesive conduct.
