Lautan Avoca 2-person Natural Shorea Outdoor Swing

Cheaply made

Purchased 90 days ago. Attached photos show that the wood on this swing is cracking everywhere. We attached a baby swing and have not had more than 22 pounds on it a handful of times. Afraid to put our granddaughter back in it. Cannot imagine if you had adults swinging on this. Definitely not worth the money.

Instructions are Horrible

The swing is great, however the instructions leave a lot to be desired.

This is a great swing. I was interested in the cloth canopy replacement when this one 'wears out" ? Any ideas

Miscut leg could not assemble.

The swing kit contained a miscut leg and it could not be assembled. I contacted Lautan and sent pictures over two weeks ago. They finally sent a Fed X tracking number and plan to ship me the correct part. Lautan has a quality inspection problem and poor response to customer requests for correct replacemants.

Sturdy 2 Person Swing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Avoca 2 person swing is beautifully crafted and extremely comfortable. It has a weight capacity of 550 lbs and is made out of shorea wood, which is comparable to teak. Although it's weather, bug and rot resistant, I still plan on moving the swing inside my garage during the wet winter months. Beautiful swing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made the mistake of trying to build this swing by myself. I’m sure it’s doable but once I got a second person it made things so much easier. Swing is very well made and sturdy. It looks beautiful sitting in the corner of my yard.

Backyard must have

It is a great area for you to be able to sit with a little bit of shade and you are able to read a book or just breath in some fresh air.
