With just the flip of a switch, mosquito repellency is established in 15 minutes. Repellency can be turned off when you don’t need it but still want to enjoy the ambient lighting. Weatherproof and suitable for wet locations, the design features a commercial grade, heavy duty 18/3 cord for outdoor use. With customizable coverage, configure your string lights numerous ways for the optimal coverage based upon your outdoor space. *Based on studies that demonstrated a reduction in mosquitoes compared to untreated controls. Use as directed. Efficacy may be affected by weather conditions, configuration and distance from repellent pods, and individual physical factors. Season assumed as 200 hours or 90 days at an average use of 2.4 hours per day.

Great once you really tighten the bulbs

Initially i could not get the bulbs to work. You really need to tighten them hard. For those of us that grew up with fragile glass bulbs, it seems unnatural to screw any bulb in as much as what is required for these to work. I have yet to test the repellent but once i figured the torque on the bulbs, they all work and look nice

Warm, Outdoor Lighting That Actually Helps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hung these 36-foot BiteFighter LED String Lights over my main deck, and they’ve been great so far. The lighting feels warm and inviting, and I like that they add some built-in bug protection without any extra effort. They were easy to set up, and they’ve held up well outdoors. Don't Last Long

The light set came well packaged and was easy to put up. The pods didn't last anywhere close to 200 hours and most of the bulbs didn't last past one season of 3 hours on per night. The fact that some of the lights have lasted and the others didn't leads me to believe that the ones that didn't are faulty. Being that there is no way to replace the bulbs or none available to replace them with, I have came to conclusion that these a waste of money and I will not be replacing them with the Tiki brand...
