Grill works nicely, App and remote monitoring is now nonexistent

loved it at first, but the removal of app support is disappointing. It was nice to be able to monitor a long term smoke if I had to go out and run errands, or ad plans to be away for a couple hours. The grill itself (both smoker and propane) still works fine after 2 years, but I feel like a paid extra for features that have now been removed. Remote features not available anymore! Don’t buy!

They discontinued the application for the grill. Wish I would’ve purchased a different brand. Don’t even know if they still sell them. If they do don’t waste your money!

Yes I would have liked to have the blue tooth but I can work around that. The fiction of the controller is perfect and works awesome I like reaching high heat quickly for searing. Nice and compact model. If you’re new to pellet smokers this is the one you want.

It's the only product that has the functionality of smoking and propane grilling with the same surface.

Never been a fan of pellets for my meat but I'm happy to play with my new toy. Git one you'll definitely love the easiest cleaning of greasy stuff and delicious desire for foodies to reflect on the experience from exquisitely endeavors from home cooking. Word salad for my delicious food I love to eat!

Not worth it

I bought this grill / smoker over a year agog. Missing parts and the app truly was terrible. I’d be standing right next to the grill and it rarely would connect over Bluetooth. Now they discontinued the app…not surprised. I’ve given up using it as a smoker, I need to replace the diffusers and the cooking elements. About ready to send it to scrappers.

I have to say, having it all in one has been the best experience ever. It's been over a year now, and I felt so compelled to write this review to let all of you know this thing is in a class by itself. Not sure I would buy this again.

Assembly wasn't hard, just takes time. The product quality isn't the best; I've had it six months, used it only twice and the front display panel is warping and peeling off, and one of the sides had a coupe of scratches on it when delivered and is starting to rust. The User Manual is horrible; it only tells you about 20% of what should be important to know. Good luck trying to figure out how to use the smoker and undetstand the various settings. Well built!

Not Bad, But Discontinuing The Mobile App is an Awful Decision

I've had this grill/smoker for about 6 months. So far, I haven't had any major issues except for not being able to get the Firmware completely up to date until now, and in some situations the grill fails to hold it's temperature steadily. I can live with that, however receiving an email stating the mobile app is being discontinued is a huge disappointment. Is the mobile app the greatest? No. But it serves its purpose and when it works, it works, and at least allows you to monitor the meat probes...

Awful support

The actual product is great. What isn’t great, and downright unfriendly to consumers is that they are removing app support for this grill. The app wasn’t great to begin with but this is pretty messed up of lifetime. The least they could do is offer support for retrofitting the grill with a replacement for the wifi controller.
