LG 30-in Self-cleaning Convection Oven Fingerprint-resistant Convection Microwave Wall Oven Combo (Black Stainless Steel)

Microwave turned on by itself.

This LG microwave turned on by itself and melted the plastic food cover that was in the microwave. We smelled something burning but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Luckily it blew the microwave fuse and turned off. The circuit breaker did not turn off. Other annoying features of this model such as beeping noises and hard to use touch controls will keep us from buying another LG product. This double oven/microwave was 5 years old.

Really not impressed with any of my LG appliances

Do not buy - water tank issues after 1y of use

touch screen requires tiny fingers.

1 Month in - the combo works as expected... however, your interface and controls are poorly designed. The touch screen controls buttons must touch precisely, and they're small buttons. If I end the microwave cook time, it asks for a confirmation, this is redundant and not required. These are examples of where better design would easily make the product better.

Lemon Law

This is my second of these units as the first one developed a loud vibration when using the microwave and it couldn’t be fixed. Now this unit. The replacement unit, the microwave quit working. It has been fixed but my confidence is so low that I purchased an extended warranty.

Avoid This Combo Unit.

Bought the first one and within 6 months it developed a loud vibration that could not be fixed. It was replaced and the new ones microwave stopped working in 9 months and still hasn’t been fixed. This unit is very unreliable.

Great product except for one key problem

This oven looks great and works well. Love the blue interior. Unfortunately, the blue has been scraped off where the two bottom racks rub against it. That's because either the racks are too wide or the oven is too narrow. LG sent us new racks and that helped, but did not fix, the problem. Frustrating that it's so difficult to push or pull the racks. Doesn't feel safe to push or pull hard when hot food is on the rack. Telescopic rack faulty

I like the oven. However, the telescopic rack is sticking and is difficult to move.

Water Tray Broken

The water tray does not stay in the water housing assembly. I have never used the steam feature on the oven and it is already broken. This appears to be a systematic issue as many others have complained about the same problem. It appears that there is a small plastic hooking mechanism that has broken. Suggestion by many others is that this is a design defect to have a small plastic piece within this unit. LG have you recalled this part yet?
