moisture detection
i would give this a 4 for moisture detection, it is close but not a 5 for detecting moisture. Some clothes are slightly damp when the cycle stops.
worst dryer ever
we have had this dryer for a few years. it constantly turns off before clothes are dried. if I set it for 40 minutes, or use the auto dry cycle it stops on its own before clothes are dried. LG says that it's because the lint is full. we have checked the lint. it's not the lint. don't buy this dryer.
Great Dryer at a great price
This dryer was a replacement as ours just stopped working. The purchase was super easy and the Department Supervisor Matthew was amazing and very knowledgable. Overall a great experience and great price.

Lint filter doesn't seal FIRE HAZARD
I bought this set a year ago and the filter never had a solid layer of lint after each load. Turns out it was all getting past the filter and building up in my ducts and walls. LG parts charge $50 to ship me a new one. Its a piece of plastic with a screen. The duct they sold me cracked too. JUNK
Runs hot
This dryer heats up my whole laundry room when it is running. My other dryers have never done that. I am sorry that I bought this particular dryer, but there are no returns on appliances after 48 hours at Lowe's, so I'm stuck with it.

Great dryer, amazing value
This LG dryer was on sale. I use it for my business and it is a replacement for my old dryer that was 20 years old and finally gave out. This one is SO quiet! It seemed to take a little longer to dry, but I read the manual and it says it uses "air dry" during the cycles to save energy. We'll have to track our electric bill to see if we see an appreciable reduction, but so far, the quietness and capacity are the best features.

This is the first LG dryer I have had and am very pleased with it. Clothes seem to come out less wrinkled, and drying time quick.
Great so far. Ot matches the washer we already had. Seems to be a study, good appliance.
