LG 30 inch Self-cleaning Air Fry Smart Compatible Microwave Wall Oven Combo ( PrintProof Stainless Steel )

Great performance and beautiful design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the LG combi wall oven installed, and it looks absolutely amazing with my white kitchen cabinets! It is noticeably quieter than my previous wall oven, and the performance so far has been outstanding. The air fry feature works wonderfully. While I haven't used the main oven yet, I'm really looking forward to baking cookies with my daughter this weekend. Extremely satisfied with this combi wall oven!

Worst Experience Ever

I purchase this unit to install into my brand new home and it has been an absolute nightmare. To start the brand new oven never worked, on day one the unit had a door lock error which would not allow either microwave or oven to work. This was on DECEMBER. For the last 5 months I’ve dealt with LG a LG repair guy who has came out several times each time saying it’s a different part to eventually just tell me it’s un repairable. The display is NOT backlit - you can’t read it

We had to return this oven unfortunately. What a hassle. The oven works great and looks nice, yes. But the control display is not backlit. You’ll absolutely have to have a well-lit kitchen light directly over the controls or use a flashlight to have any hope of knowing what buttons to press. The oven/microwave settings are just printed on the control panel and are not backlit at all. We love this microwave, air fryer, oven all together in a beautiful design. Saved my precious countertop space and easy to clean and maintain! Works great!

Can’t Read Display

This combo has a screen with “NO BACKLIGHT”!!! What’s worse is that they used a light grey to paint on the controls and you cannot read them at all if you need glasses. Who does this? The combo works really well so far and looks great, but is absolutely useless.

CAN"T READ THE DISPLAY!!!

Although I have not fully tried the features of this oven to give a full review, I have to say that it almost impossible to read the controls. I have to use my phone flash light to see read the display. Wondering if my unit is defective and the diplay should light up on touch? Seriously wrong. I will save and and replace this with something else.

Stylish but..........

I wanted to wait a few months before submitting this review. It is very stylish but there are a few drawbacks: in low lighting itis very hard to see the buttons, while baking the heat blows out much like a ventless microwave (making the kitchen pretty warm when I am cooking). I can turn on a light to identify what each of the buttons are for but nothing I can do to stop my kitchen from heating up when baking :-(

Really consider an extended warranty

18 months to end of life. No reflection on Lowe’s. Unit emitted a strong electrical burning smell. LG tech said magnetron. Microwave worked fine. My tech found burnt connector. Repair quote $1,728.00. Decided to replace unit to eliminate fear of fire. LG just ghosted me since out of warranty.

Have had for one month.

I'm a big LG fan, all my tvs, appliances are LG. We did a full kitchen remodel and went with this combo unit, everything works great, the air fryer etc. EXCEPT, THE BUTTONS! CAN'T READ THEM, how did they not make them light up from the back! Even with kitchen lights on they are hard to read!
