[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG LW6017R has Dry Mode Which Works Great When Very Humid Outside The Noise Of The Air Conditioner is about 67 Decibel's and not very loud I’ve had this Air Conditioner For about 3 Years no Issues Good Job LG

absolute Junk do not waste your money

no drain hole for condensation that builds up and the condensation builds up inside where the cold air blows out which the fan then picks up the water and sprays all over everything that's nearby don't waste your money this is an absolute piece of junk

Worked somewhat for 2 days then turned into a very expensive fan. Do not buy this.

Okay; Not the Best Design

It's tough having the control panel on the top of the unit. The unit is also noisier than most window units, mostly in that even on cool mode (as opposed to energy efficient mode), it doesn't just hum consistently--the sound of the unit changes very frequently. This makes it hard to leave on at night in the bedroom, particularly for light sleepers. Normally, I'd say, you get what you pay for, but at this price point for this sized unit, I expected better.

Defective and not refundable

Air conditioner is very loud and cycles on and off every few minutes. I tried to return it, but I missed Lowes 48-hour deadline. Contacted LG. They asked for a lot of documentation, which I provided, and that was the last I’ve heard from them. Ghosted! So, I’ll suffer through the rest of this summer with it, then throw it away. Crap product and even worse support.

Cools well but noisy for a small unit.

Cools rooms well for a small unit. Makes a little too much noise. Also makes a gurgling sound the manual says is refrigerant moving thru the condenser- sounds like water flowing.
