Meh...

I thought I liked it, until it started leaking from the inside 2 weeks after my 4 year warranty was up. And I don't even use it everyday. It is quieter than the old 1995 wall AC that I replaced, however it does not have as much power even on level 3, which is the max. I personally will never buy anything LG unless it's a phone or TV maybe.

Broke after only 1.5 summers

Only used for half of the summer in 2024, 2025, and then when I went to turn it on this year... broken, does not work. Absolutely would not recommend.

Still going strong!

The AC still runs great even though I bought it over a year ago. The Florida hot season is brutal so I run it constantly except in fall and winter. It's low maintenance and an easy install. At the same time, I bought this unit I bought the GE 550 for a smaller room. That one kicked the bucket at one year one month. Conveniently right after the warranty, thanks planned oobsolescence. So definitely pick the LG 550.

Not Good At All

Does not cool, you cant even feel the cold air.

It cools, noisy fan

It cools, but the fan seems to jave a bushing noise thats really annoying. The plastic guides that snap on the underside of the housing do not fit without modification and it had shipping damage, which Lowes doesn't care about.

Very effective in cooling a usually hot room

The fan is very quiet compared to other ACs

PURCHASED ONLINE TO REPLACE THE SAME MODEL THAT DIED. DELIVERY WAS 2 1/2 DAYS EARLY, AND I MUCH APPRECIATE THAT ASPECT. PRODUCT EVALUATION COMES AFTER MORE USE.
