We have a lg window ac for about 2 years. Model LW1216ER. When unit is totally off. No lights on front display. It cycles every 10-15 minutes with a buzz/hum sound. No air comes out during this. When it is on it does not regulate temperature. It drives the temp. way below its setting. When set to 82 it got to 68. When set to 86 (highest on settings) its about 75. We went through many steps, same problem. AI chat says control pcb board probably or possibly also thermistor. Very disappo...

Unreliable AC
This AC unit barely kept our home cool the first summer and now starting the second summer, it no longer cools at all if temps are over 90 degrees. Not a good unit by any means.

Very disappointing airflow. Our smaller one works better. The Lowe's staff went above and beyond to help us. 10 stars for those 2 men!

Extremely noisy
This unit is so noisy, it's like living with a truck in our bedroom. It is perfectly fine at cooling the room, we just can't sleep with it on. It's a nightmare. We've used it a few summers and will take it out and replace it. Do not recommend.
