love the sleep mode

this ac is worth the money, it is very quite specially on sleep mode, cools fast , love the remote . not sure on efficiency yet. but bet it will be good has a slow start up . went back to buy another on and they were out of stock

Powerful and compact room A/C

This 10000BTU unit fit exactly into the same slot as an older LG 6000BTU unit did. The extra cooling (and drying) power is appreciated . Installation was easy. This A/C does pull 15A so you definitely want it on a 20A circuit.

Perfection!

Installed today to replace another brand that worked well, but we wanted the LG dual inverter that was so highly praised by Consumer Reports. We opted for the version without the Smart features as we simply don’t need them. The new unit is so wonderful as to be almost be unbelievable. Whisper quiet even on the highest setting, sleek design, a breeze to install, and with 10000 btu it’s enough to cool much of our 1450 square foot cottage. Love, love, love it!!!

Could be good

I've only had this unit for a few days, so can't give a comprehensive evaluation. What I have observed is that a problem mentioned in some other customers reviews is present. The problem is that if you don't have a perfectly square window and get the unit perfectly set in place, the impeller contacts the air duct and causes a constant rattle. The solution for most of them has been to open the unit and file the outer tips of the blades to make them clear the housing. I haven't gone to that exte...

Huge disappointment

Coolant ran out in under 2 years. Far too expensive of a product to be useless in less than 2 years. Flat rate repair was almost as much as the original price. Also not a quiet unit
