What Customers Are Saying
The refrigerator has a spacious and well-organized interior with convenient features like dual freezer drawers and an in-door ice maker. It keeps food fresh and cold, and the ice maker produces ice efficiently. However, some customers have experienced issues with the compressor and ice maker failing prematurely, leading to costly repairs. There have also been reports of problems with the door seals and frost buildup. Overall, the product has great features but reliability concerns, and customers should consider the warranty and potential repair costs.

We purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago. The space is amazing and it is a beautiful fridge. The idea of the compact ice maker in the door is a great way to go if it works properly. Ours, not so much. It is supposed to produce enough ice for 2-3 people all day long. It doesn’t. On a good day it maybe filled up 3 glasses and then we have to push the plus button. We had to have the ice maker serviced twice under warranty and then replaced once under extended warranty because it was leaking and i...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First when delivery guys came in they refused to unhook water line from old LG refrigerator and we had to unhook water line , they removed old one and then they brought new fridge in they told us that due to our water line was copper they refused to hook it up and we paid for a new line hook up and they left the refrigerator in the middle of the floor and with out saying a word to us they left and when we pushed the refrigerator to it spot ...

Just Junk
I bought this in 2017. The compressor died in 2022. The ice maker died in 2023. The water stopped working in 2024. Today it started to buzz and has a weird chemical/metallic smell on all the food in the refrigerator and freezer. I paid 25% more for this model so it would fit in a smaller space. It has been the worst refrigerator I have ever own. Honestly you should be ashamed of how poor a product this.

Like the fridge - until it died
We liked the fridge, but the LG support/warranty department has been poor! Had the fridge less than 2 years and it completely stopped cooling. June 25 – Called LG support – they were helpful to start and scheduled one of their authorized repair companies to look at it June 26 - Repair company came and said the compressor was bad and needed a few other parts - all under warranty. July 12 - (Took more than 2 weeks to get the parts). Tech came to do the repair and found a nick in the refr...

Looks nice, but not reliable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: I love how large the unit is. You can easily arrange the shelves to accommodate containers of any size. It is easy to access the air and water filter. Cons: Ice-maker is small and we often run out of ice, even when turbo mode is on. Our unit has had to be serviced twice within 5 years, both times losing an entire fridge/freezer worth of food. It's making sounds again and the freezer is frosting over, again, so I expect another service vi...

Buy at your own risk
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have this model LG french door refrigerator, along with a much larger LG french door frig in our duplex. Both models have had the compressor fail, along with the coil and other parts. It takes 2-weeks just to get parts from LG, then the repairs take at least a half day to perform. Fortunately, we always buy a 5-year warranty on appliances, otherwise it would cost a fortune to fix it or to buy a new one altogether. This is our 3rd LG,...

The awesome refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The story of my dream fridge: about this time last year, my husband and I began a floor to ceiling remodel of the grungy old kitchen in our condo. The kitchen is quite small, but we wanted to make the best possible use of the space and make it practical and functional. I really wanted quality appliances, since I love cooking, and I had my heart set on a bottom-freezer refrigerator. Nothing else would do. At our old house we had a top freezer a...

Do not buy LG
It worked well for 5years. Just over 5yrs it died (not cooling well/not making ice/etc) then not cooling at all. They sent a repair person who replaced the compressor. It did cool but never to the correct temperatures (not cool enough/freezer not freezing). Repair man came back said it’s an insulation/condensation issue can’t fix get a new fridge. Of course my new fridge will NOT be an LG. There are class action lawsuits against these refrigerators for same issue(I’m lucky I got 5yrs, others do...

Like it so far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought an LG because we were told they were one of the most reliable. Our kitchen appliances are all black. We couldn't find a black LG so settled on the black stainless. It is very light, more of a gray and, for the price, should have just gone with the stainless. We loved the idea of the in the door ice maker to free up shelf space. When full, the ice bin will hold just over a half gallon of ice. This is plenty for us. This refrigera...

Perfect for narrower refrigerator space
I previously owned a 35 3/4" wide refrigerator -- but found out during my remodel that more width is now required for the same width refrigerator. (I have a solid wall to the right of my refrigerator space which extends longer than refrigerator depth). I reluctantly switched from a 35 3/4" GE Profile side by side to this LG 33 1/2" French Door model. The adjustment is easier than I thought. The dimensions actually look better in my kitchen. It's taking some time getting used to the bottom freeze...
