Retractable screen broke 19 mos after installation
After a little over one year (19 mos) the screen roller jammed, the sides of the screen popped out, the mechanisms rotating the screen popped out and the bottom part of the screen that was attached to the window split off. This happened when I was sliding the window to open screen. For an almost $600 storm door, this should not happen. I do not have the money to replace it.

Customer service not up to par
Installation was straight forward. Continually reminded not to open door until secured to the frame. Upon opening noticed that the upper door brush was slid one inch to the right and pinched in the hinge during manufacture so that it was not possible to slide it back over and left an inch gap at the left end. Was told by Larson customer service that my only option was to return the door to Lowes and purchase another - essentially that it was not their problem and was now mine. Buyer beware if y...
