What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise the sturdy, well-constructed build and attractive design, with many highlighting the premium aluminum frame and innovative dual-function screen-and-glass system that slides smoothly. Installation is generally straightforward with clear instructions, though some found the door's weight challenging for solo setup. However, a significant frustration centers on handle confusion—many customers expected the handle included but discovered it sold separately, feeling this critical information was poorly communicated during ordering. Despite this drawback, most customers consider the door's quality and functionality worthwhile.

Great product - Easy Installation

Would Recommend

Installed for a customer. Like always Larson makes a high quality product with detailed instructions. Even included a spade bit to drill holes for the handle and lock! Template makes latch installation a breeze. Nice aluminum door. Installation took about 2 hours start to finish. Customer loves their new door!!

Jury is still out

Door seems well constructed but we have only had it a few weeks. I will not know for a while how long lasting it will be.

Cheap garbage

Would Not Recommend

Doesn't seal for crap. Adjusted. Re fit. Had to redrill holes. Latches like crap. Where you think it should latch nice n tight and kind of close up the door gap it doesnt. Dont matter how its adjusted. Even spots that are what they have to be have gaps. I know better than to buy cheap doors. Especially larson. Save your time and spend a few extra bucks on a better storm door brand.

Problems with install for an ICF house

Would Recommend

Just what I expected. We did have problems because our house is an ICF built house. It has aerated concrete blocks and the way our doors are installed there was no room for a storm door to be hung. We had to frame out an outside door frame and then install the door. If you have a normal wood framed house you should fine. It cost more to hang the door because we had to hire someone who could frame it out my husband wasn't comfortable doing it himself. Beautiful Door!!
