Good door, cheap pet door flap

Lowe's supplied the installers, and we have no complaints at all about the fit and finish of the door itself. But it is, after all, a pet door, and I would never recommend it to anyone for that purpose. The flimsy plastic flap that our dog pushes open is supposed to firmly close along the bottom of the flap, secured by a weak magnet. It works maybe half the time, but half the time the flap leaves 1/2 inch to an inch of opening, plenty of room for insects and outside air to get in. I'd have pre...
