This lock was very easy to install. From start to finish, it took me about 9 minutes, and that included installing the batteries and programming a new code. I should mention that I’m pretty handy and have installed similar locks before, but even with that in mind, this one went in smooth as glass. First one died but love the lock!!!
The first one I bought stopped working after only 2 months and I had to buy a second one and return the first. Lowe's was good to take it back. I tried changing the batteries but still did not work, also tried to reset and no luck there either. The electronics just stopped working. We absolutely love the lock though, easy to program and install.
