Love Kwikset Smartkey!

Needed some locks for gates on a piece of property we own for hunting and recreation. Needed the protection and corrosion-resistance offered by stainless steel. Got all that with these stainless steel locks by Kwikset. But the real bonus is the 1-key convenience and simplicity of the Smartkey cylinder. Deadbolts on my house are Kwikset Smartkey and now I have the same key for all my outdoor locks. House, privacy fence, two sheds, and two gates all work with the same key. It took me less th...

Great gate security!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is both heavy and sleek! The keys glide in smoothly and open the lock effortlessly. We don’t use our back gate fence frequently, but it’s far enough that we want something secure. This lock meets all our requirements.

Sturdy, weatherproof, cut resistant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used Kwikset locks on my outdoor gates. It is larger and feels sturdy. Comes with instructions, 2 keys, a smart key, and is easy to use. The key stays in the keyhole until the lock is back in place. This is supposed to be weatherproof and cut resistant, so I’m excited to try this model. I also like the keyhole cover to prevent dirt from getting in.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kwikset smart key rekeyable lock is great. I rekeyed it to match my kwikset house key so now I can lock my yard gate and only need one key. It was easy to rekey. The lock itself is string yet lightweight.

What I needed for my shed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this lock and that it feels solid and secure. Id been wanting a new lock for my shed and this one is absolutely everything that I wanted.

Sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is super sturdy and a bit heavy too. You put the key in to unlock it and in order to remove the key you need the thin metal peice that comes with the set. Don't lose that piece or you will not be able to remove the key when trying to lock it. I just put it on the keyring with the two keys to the lock. Highly recommend.
