August Smartlock Incompatible
The low profile deadbolt doesn't work with August smart lock or any other smartlock which uses the deadbolt torque blade.

Such An Improvement
Our new home came with a school janitor's keyring. Every door in the house had a different knob with a different key. I've been swapping them out for these beauties and I've never been happier with a door handle, which is a weird thing to say. Everything went very smoothly for me. The Smart Key system is fantastic. My advice to people giving crap reviews is to measure and read, otherwise hire a professional because you're clearly not up to the task.

Poor Design
The standard prep for the two 2 1/8" holes on a door is 5 1/2". Kwikset decided to make this one at only 5", which means it won't fit ANY door that already has the holes drilled at the STANDARD of 5 1/2'. Huge mistake on the manufacturing of this lock. Steer Clear!
