Bought this in July for a door I don't even use that often. Installed at end of July. Batteries are already dead in 45 days. maybe visited the spot 4 times and used a total of 30 lock/unlocks. Was hoping for something convenient, but I guess not...

Screen has tiny cracks on it.

Due to sunlight hitting the touch screen, it has been forming tiny cracks on it. I contacted support 2-weeks ago and heard nothing.

Hands-down by far the worst lock I’ve ever purchased. And choose up batteries about once every 30 days. It was exchanged from the manufacturer within the first six months and it did the same thing. Do not go with this namebrand at all whatsoever

I bought my Halo Touchscreen Kwikset Lock, YEARS AGO! It still works... For the most part... It's old, so I get it.... I do wish that there were more integration options (IE: Halo Touchscreen and Ecobee, and more features between Halo Touchscreen and Google Assistant/Google Voice)...

Eats through batteries

I really wanted to like this lock, since our previous apartment had a kwikset lock that only needed the batteries replaced once in a year, but it’s made that very difficult. This was one of the first purchases I made for my first home, and It’s almost comical how fast this thing eats through batteries. Yes, the door is properly aligned and it’s also less than 5 feet from our wifi setup so poor signal shouldn’t be an issue. We have a household of 4, so people are coming and going constantly and t...

It's nice not having to carry a house key anymore but man this thing eats batteries. It's also nice being able to share the code on an ad hoc basis so a neighbor can water plants, feed pets, etc. He app works pretty well too.
