[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the tuff rust semi-flat black on the recommendation of a car builder/car restore because that’s what he uses on all of his bills for frames and suspension. I bought it to do my front suspension and frame. It matches the factory color perfectly and it covers the rust great highly recommend for car guys painting their frames or suspension.

Best paint I have ever bought

I bought this paint a few months ago. I had no idea what i was getting in I walked in. I just knew that I needed something for a metal exterior door that had a lot of sun exposure. Good tough paint - but be careful how you apply it

It's just about impossible to find oil paint anymore and I needed some to re-coat a plywood floor in my house. I brushed this along the edges where the masking tape was and used a smooth roller to fill in everywhere else. I noticed right away that the paint was going on thick and that I couldn't go over a freshly painted spot to try to even out the coverage. will not dry completely

I used 2 colors on a cub cadet compact tractor without seeing any reviews 1st. The off-white color used the pastel base and i thinned it about 10% and sprayed the hood and other parts. I was in love with this paint. It sprayed well and looks close to factory finish. It did dry hard and after 3 days i could rub my hand very hard over it. But it got worse from then on. IT NEVER DRIED

I regrettably bought this paint over the other leading brand because it was tintable. I hired reputable contractor to redo the trim in my house. After he cut it all to size, I had him paint it with this paint. IT NEVER DRIED. I took it back to Lowe's. And they said they could only refund me the money and to contact Krylon. MUST THIN This PAINT

So after ressing these reviews and shooting g this paint I feel like I must imput my findings. I painted this with am airless and with hvlp. This paint right out the can is very thick. I had to thin it alot to shoot it in the hvlp gun after it dried it looked nice and had no problems. Very thick, slow drying paint

I bought this paint on the Lowes employees recommendation, I needed a paint for my shed. They were able to mix the exact color I wanted, I was so excited. I came home and started painted, it was a 70° Florida day. Won't Dry

Great paint product but I always used the Valspar metal paint from Lowe's. Sprayed an entire 30 foot livestock trailer with an airless sprayer. Man, does it ever look great. However, this is 48 hours later and the paint isn't dry. I can push the paint with my finger and it will form a finger print anywhere I push down. Great product! Sets quickly but the coverage is decent and cleans up easy with mineral spirits. Can be tinted to any color, to meet your project needs.

Thick paint. Applies well and sticks to metal well. Should apply sparingly as too much on brush leads to drips. Price is expensive but wither price
