As other said very thin paint but works well

First off the website shows a picture that says Gloss Black, the description says satin, and the the can at the store only says "Black". The black has a nice shine to it so I am going to say the actual Gloss Black is the right description. Worth It

As others have stated, this paint is tricky and messy to work with due to the runny then tacky consistency. Use a brush you plan to throw away. The results are worth it. I used it to restore a wood stove I purchased this year. I did have to use more than one coat in places where the rust and creosote buildup was a problem (after cleaning and sanding of course.) Ruined my large offset smoker

Despite my reservations, I foolishly chose this supposedly reliable paint for my maintenance cycle. No better than regular paint...

I realize the ideal application for this is probably not exhaust parts, but given the description says it's good to 1000°. I went ahead with it. the exhaust on the vehicle I was working with only gets to about half of that on the worst day. color is waaaaay off!

So I bought a can of this to repaint an antique Oklahoma Joe's smoker that was given to me. I stripped it down to bright, shiny raw steel then ospho'ed it, scuffed off the powder leaving the steel looking dull grey almost like a galvanized look and then painted it with this stuff. I guess I should have spent the money for an expensive brush because it left tons of brush marks behind but really that's not a big deal, meh.. Great for smoker restoration

I inherited a very nice smoker which had seen better days. The powder coat was flaking and the bare metal had rusted in some areas. I've used some of the Rustoleum and Krylon flat black High Heat spray paint on other projects. I've found the sprays to be thin even after multiple coats and the finish to be very dull. These sprays also don't last for multiple grilling or fire-burning seasons. Sprays work for some projects but not on others that have a heat resistent enamel, baked or powder-coa...

WHAT A MESS!!

I understand that this "paint" is probably the way it is because it's a high-heat "paint" (???), but it's more like water or a stain! Oh my goodness, I wish I would've had gloves, I was a mess! Even after using a primer on my tile fireplace this stuff still took 3 coats to get it covered. It took way longer than my usual Behr latex paint, but I had to use it. Never again will I use a this or any other "paint" like this.

Meh

I purchased this because my local Lowes was out of the spray on variety and I was too impatient to wait. I started small with just the smoker and it came out looking like a 5 year old painted it with his mom's hairbrush. Streaks and patchy, seems like it dries immediately and doesn't settle. I got the idea to try my little hobby airbrush hooked up to a compressor. Noxious smoke in my house with record low temps

Contrary to another review I found the finish to look great compared to a rusty old stove- visible brush strokes not an issue for my old woodburner. Here's the major problem- I allowed approx. 2 weeks to cure out. Beware of brush strokes

This product might be ok if your not particular, i used it to repaint my fireplace insert, and it looked way better before applying this paint. It’s super thin and left awful brush strokes. The brush strokes don’t level at all, how it looks when it goes on is how it will dry. Now I’m trying to strip all this off and start over with a different product.
