Once you get good ones, it's solid
Have some of these at work, and they have been great for years now. Decided to get a home set. The impact was dead out of the box, lowes replaced it. Now the drill won't change from low to high gear (Home use only, about a year old). The replacement unit was fine. Going to take in the drill now and hopefully get it swapped out too.

Great tools. Confusing box.
I have been using Kobalt 24v tools for about 4 years. I think they provide great performance for the price. I upgraded my older kit to the XTRs about 7 months ago. No complaints about the tools or the capabilities. The box is a little confusing. It is great and better built than my t-stack system but...with no other boxes/system, what is the point? Also, if you want Kobalt to warranty your tools, keep the receipt. My original drill had the chuck begin to not stay tight after about 3 years...

Nice solid tools with lots of power
I really like these tools. All of my old tools had worn out and I was about to purchase a full set of a popular brand that I had used for many years when a friend in the trades mentioned the Kobalt line. I really trust his judgement, so I went all in. I purchased the 5 tool set, the oscillating tool, an extra 4A battery and a fast charger. I spent less than I had been planning for and ended up with more tools than I had planned on. The reciprocating saw is a beast. It has plenty of power and rip...
