What Customers Are Saying
The product appears to be a generally well-made and effective tool for common wood-cutting tasks. Customers praise its good balance, weight, and ability to chop through materials. However, some report issues with the durability of the rubber/shock-absorbing component and the blade dulling quickly. A small number also received damaged or defective axes. With proper care and maintenance, the product seems to be a capable and affordable option for homeowners and others in need of a reliable wood-cutting tool.

I recently used this axe for cutting roots in dirt and was impressed with its performance. The blade stayed sharp throughout, making quick work of the task. The handle was ergonomic and comfortable, reducing fatigue during extended use. Considering the price, I'm satisfied with the value for money. Overall, I'd recommend this axe for its durability and effectiveness.

Great Tool but Bad Lowes Online Experience
I needed 5 yard tools for a family members birthday and wanted all to be the same brand. My local Lowe's store had 4, the Kobalt Axe wasn't in stock so I went online and saw it at a store a few miles away that I could order and pick it up the next morning so I purchased the 4 tools in the store and than ordered the axe online. I got the email confirmation order #300901231241146417 and shortly after I got a cancellation email. I went back to the website and it still listed the Axe so I ordered it...
