Beware: Free assembly is a risk

Would Recommend

Cool cabinet but I clicked on the free assembly option and what a mistake. First off, it was ready for pick up 10 days later than advirtised because they said they ordered the wrong item. Then it was assembled incorrectly and you can’t hang shelves because half the cabinet is an inch higher than the other side clearly. . So I have to take it apart and reassemble myself now. Not to mention when they put it together they jammed the door in and bent the top of it. The store said they didn’t put it ...

Damaged - DO NOT BUY - Reviews are TRUE!

Damaged out of the box. $100+ protection plan denied the claim. I knew better. Reviews already said these Kobalt 48-in W x 72-in H x 18.5-in D silver steel garage cabinets (model 19000) arrive beat up. I told the salesman that. His answer: don’t worry, buy the extra $100 protection plan and any damage is covered. They were damaged out of the box. I still spent two hours putting these things together. Filed the claim. Denied. The Lowe’s adjuster said the plan only kicks in after the first year....

Damaged

Would Recommend

It seems to be a nice and sturdy cabinet. I gave it two stars because it has damage even though it was packaged well the bottom base was bent in a few places. I was able to straighten but still made it difficult to assemble as it slides into the back and sides. The doors have a chrome strip that runs the entire link of the doors that you grab to open the doors is all scratched up like it was rubbing against another piece during shipping. Should return it since it was $450.00 dollars but I’ll liv...
