Drilled failed within 2 months of owning it. I tried to get the warranty replacement and Lowes could not figure it out. I went back and forth with Kobalt customer service and Lowes. Finally, they sent me to a random store a hour away and they replaced it for me. A month later this new drill ended up having the same exact failure. It's not even worth fighting to get the warranty to replace again, I will just go buy a Dewalt and not worry about having any issues. What a pain.

Malfunction
I had to replace my cordless drill due to the some kind of interior malfunction. Good warranty. And then again 18 months later due to another malfunction. The light turns on n does not operate at all. I had to remove n place the battery back in constantly until it stop running.

False Ad - Bait and Switch
I got an online deal on Lowes.com that said Kobalt Drill with two batteries. When I went to pick it up, I only got one battery, and the order was changed to say one battery. If you find a good online deal, SCREEN PRINT IT, or snippet the deal, and take that printout with you to Lowes, so they cannot cheat you like they did to me. I camnnot believe Lowes is now stooping to deceoptive advertising, but apparently they are.

Great artery Drill
I have always liked the Kobalt tools. I own several and I am pleased with them. I was assembling some furniture and realized that my drill and impact were in our camper on the other side of town. So I look to see what Lowe’s had to get a drill driver. I not only found the Kobalt drill but is was the least expensive of all they had that I would consider.
