I purchased this product because the dimensions of 18 inches high would fit under the toneau cover of my pickup truck. I was shocked and disappointed to find out its not 18 inches high, but its 18 inches DEEP. For the price, I would have expected a simply accurate description because I now have a tool chest that doesnt fit my needs.

I read all of the reviews regarding damaged boxes. I needed more storage for my small engine shop. The price was the first thing that caught my attention. What is the actual height of this cabinet? It says 18' but I would believe it is the 24.8" and the front to back is 18" Want to double check before I order. My bottom cabinet is 22" from front to back. Thanks

Does the lid have to be up to open the drawers, or do they latch another way? I plan on using this in a vehicle that only has 32" ceiling clearance, so the lid probably won't quite open completely, but I want to still use the drawers obviously.
