Easy use snow thrower

this blower is easy to use, light weight, and has good power for light er snow removal. I used it in 7 inches of snow, and it worked well. I liked the motorized snow shoot to direct the snow throe while opening it. Overall, it's a nice little machine.

I think Cobalt does pretty good with Summer lawn equipment. An electric lawn mower usually lasts me about 3-4 years. That actually isn't half bad in our current disposable society. However, I tried my luck with Cobalt snow blowers because I thought maybe they could do more than just summer lawn equipment. The first unit was broken in the box, so I had to find a way to get it back to the store after having it delivered to my house. The stores literally never carry this, so it has to be shipped....

Not a battery operated unit!

Beware this is not a battery operated unit, it is electric and why it even says anything about a battery is totally misleading. It arrived and would not work. The box was not damaged but the wheel support was bent, looked like a factory defect. When I called the 800 number they told me to unplug it and plug it back in, it still did not work. Upstate NY Work horse

I purchased this for clearing snow off my roofs. Parish NY East of Lake Ontario we get heavy lake affect snow, ( 7 ft. on the last 2weeks), I decided to give the Kobalt 15amp 21"wide electric a try. This was the second time cleaning this barn roof off, this time using the Kobalt electric it cleared 2.5 ft. of snow two passes to get down to the roof deck, and the second roof that day. It worked without a problem, it didn't overheat ( use the correct size power cord 12/3 awg 100' small wire cords...
