I got 1/2 a hole drilled before bit went dull. The tap itself is really good. had to go to Big R because Lowe's doesn't sale the right drill bit unless you want yo buy another set

Good enough for the job

This is the largest tap and drill I could find for my project, which was cutting a hole into a cabinet. The tube needed a 3/4 inch hole (plus nut), so I had quite a bit of wiggling and angling to make a hole with an adequate circumference. I would have appreciated more sharpness on the tap and the drill tip.

Visited Lowe’s to find something to help remove a boat that was stripped. I showed the bolt to the sales person on the floor, he went right to the item needed. And just like that, problem solved.

Worked exactly as it should.

Worked well for drilling and tapping half inch thick steel.

Did the job

This is my first time ever using a tap. Watched an online video and went to work. I did find that for my material, I had to pre-drill out the hole to a size just smaller than the drill bit that was included, but no problem. Overall I was very satisfied with the outcome.
