Worked perfectly

The extensions fit the standards, but it is a tight fit. It would be impossible to slide the plastic piece into the standard. You have to pull the standard away from the wall, line up where the connector will go into place and push it onto the plastic connector to fit. Also, you’ll need a 1/2” drill bit, if you use the provided toggle bolt and anchor.

Perfect to increase closet storage

I purchase 4 extensions to be able to add baskets and a shoe rack. The extensions were easy to install by placing the existing rail over the extender and pressing together, then securing with the provided screw. Total installation time was less than 5 minutes.

Does not attach!

The plastic anchor that is supposed to connect the two pieces does not fit in the above section. I bought two of these, and both sections that I had already installed, were far too narrow at the bottom for the plastic piece to be inserted. I even tried to pry apart the metal edges but to no avail. In theory this is a great idea, but just does not work. I ended up with another trip to the store to purchase an addition hang rail to install. I threw the plastic attachment pieces away. Bummer.
