What Customers Are Saying

Customers are sharply divided on this deglosser. Most praise its time-saving benefits on cabinets, trim, and furniture, reporting it eliminates or drastically reduces sanding and cuts prep time in half while reducing dust. Many note combining it with a scrub pad enhances results. However, a substantial portion report it does absolutely nothing to degloss surfaces, particularly on stained, varnished, or oil-based finishes, forcing them to sand anyway. Several customers fall between extremes, finding partial success on certain materials but inconsistent performance overall. Despite polarized opinions, most reviewers consider it worthwhile for compatible surfaces.
